The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at the University Hospital Zurich (www.usz.ch)
is considered to be a pioneering centre in Switzerland. Novel
approaches such as microinsemination (ICSI), pre-implantation
diagnostics (polar body biopsy) and ovarian tissue cryopreservation have
been initiated with success as the first centre within Switzerland. The
Division for Reproductive Medicine has been certified for its high
quality. The pregnancy rates are high on a national and international
level. The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology focuses on the
diagnosis of and therapy for involuntary childlessness and the treatment
of menopausal symptoms, hormonal disorders, and contraception. The
Departement performs more than 10,000 consultations each year. For
