Claus Buddeberg , MD
Professor emeritus of Psychosocial Medicine
Dr. Buddeberg studied Medicine at the Universities of
Tübingen, Lausanne and Hamburg 1966-1972. Residency in Psychiatry and
Psychotherapy in Zurich. Training in cognitive-behavioral and systemic
psychotherapy, sexual counseling and therapy. 1984 Habilitation in
Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. From 1991- 2010 Professor and Head of
the Department of Psychosocial Medicine and Head of the Division of
Sexual Medicine at the University Hospital Zurich , now in private practice ( www.buddeberg-praxis.ch) . In 1993 Visiting
Professor at the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging
Research, Rutgers University New Jersey, USA.
